We offer a full feasibility service as well as utility quotes.
There are two aspects to any given project / development. The first being, is it actually feasible?
This is such a simple but vital question when embarking on a new scheme, which is why Powersave Direct has taken the guesswork out of these provisional sums when pulling together a tender package or budget for a project.
We can obtain budget proposals and provide utility quotes, whether this be for disconnections to allow demolition, diversion of existing apparatus on or crossing the land or new connections to the new builds themselves.
We can determine capacity checks and provide you with existing utility drawings from all utility companies that may potentially have apparatus within your area.
We obtain information from the environment agency regarding flood plans, (which is becoming more and more relevant), water courses and tree preservation information.
We even liaise with the local council to gather information relating to adopted highways and public footpaths.
We will send you all of this information in an easy to understand summary report so you have accurate and detailed information to enable you to tender a project with confidence or use the information to assess the feasibility of your own scheme.
Managing utility works on your site
The second aspect of any given project is the live date of when you actually start on site. For your live development we can organise any utility works needed on site, ranging from disconnections, diverting existing apparatus and the installation of new infrastructure to serve your new buildings.
We appoint an experienced project manager to you so they fully understand the scheme, the works required and your programme.
We tender the scheme where we can, making the most of the competition within the market by using Independent Gas Transporters (IGT’s) and Distribution Network Operators (DNO’s) and alternative water infrastructure providers in a bid to provide you with the most cost effective solution.
We will place any subsequent orders with the utility company, we will chase through contract packs and appointment of field engineers. We will arrange pre start meetings and will schedule all works in line with your programme, including registration of supplies and the installation of meters. We let you know who is coming and when, what they are there to do and what you need to do to prepare and most importantly your project manager is always on hand to assist you with anything you need.
